Minimum Qualifications: Two years of college education (business, administrative, or secretarial field preferred) plus one year of specialized training preferred.
Work Experience: At least 1 year secretarial or administrative experience. Supervisory experience a plus.
Aptitudes: Must be proficient in graphics and desktop publishing software. Must have considerable knowledge of various software programs, i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Adobe Acrobat, database functions etc.).
Function: Serves as Administrative Assistant to the Laundry Department by providing administrative support to Director, Laundry Supervisor, and Lead Persons. Coordinates travel arrangements, performs computerized payroll functions and scheduling, is responsible for compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Essential Resoonsibilities: Types required documentation accurately, in appropriate format, and in a timely manner using a variety of software packages. Compiles, inputs, and extracts data using hospital authorized Linen Management System. Compiles budget data from financial reports, other duties as assigned.
